The rubber maintenance bung will effectively seal the oil service hole located on your GTRO gearbox, located just under the crank arm. In the case that yor maintenance bung has been damaged or lost, replacements can easily be purchased and installed.

What tools will I need?

Removing and installing the rubber maintenance bung should require zero tools, however there's some tools which may aid in this process:

 

• Flathead screwdriver

• Tweezers

 

Additional tip - If you find it difficult to reinstall the bung, simply apply some maintenance oil to the fill hole or bung for lubrication.
